Summer is off to a great start at Florence Copper thanks to our new interns!
Meet Sundari, our Earth Science Summer Associate and Brad, our Environmental Summer Associate. They are both getting first-hand experience working in in-situ copper recovery by collecting samples from the plant and wellfield, analyzing data, and assisting with a variety of other duties for the Environmental and Technical Services departments.
Sundari is currently pursuing a degree in Mining Engineering at the University of Arizona. She’s also a musician who plays piano, violin, and the organ.
Brad is a senior at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania who will soon graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering. He has competed over three years of Collegiate Division II wrestling at his school.
They’re a great addition to the Florence Copper team. We welcome them to Florence!
